Out With the Old, In with the New
Welcome to the revamped Todd Klassy Photography website! As you might have noticed, there are some fresh upgrades around here—new galleries, a new online store, and a clean, modern design that makes browsing photos a breeze. But when it comes to the blog, well… that’s a different story.
You see, the blog and I go way back to 2010, and we've been through a lot together—capturing the beauty of Montana’s sweeping landscapes, the heart of agriculture, and the stories hidden in rural life. But with this new website, I had to make the tough decision to leave behind the old architecture that supported my previous blog. Think of it like switching from a trusty old tractor to a brand-new combine. The new one is faster, shinier, and can do more, but that doesn't mean it's easy to bring over everything from the old days.
So, what does that mean for the blog? Well, I’m rolling up my sleeves and doing a little digital heavy lifting. Every week, I’ll be adding seven posts from the old blog to the new one. It’s a manual process—like planting a field one seed at a time. At this pace, I expect it’ll take a little over three months to fully move everything over. Winter’s always a bit slower around here, so I figure it’s the perfect time to hunker down, keep the coffee brewing, and get those old posts back where they belong.
Of course, in the meantime, I’ll still be sharing fresh, new blog posts. You’ll get a mix of the old and the new—a bit like rotating between well-worn boots and that fresh-out-of-the-box pair that fits just right.
So if you’re looking for an old favorite from the blog archives, hang tight—it’ll be back soon. And if you want to join me on this journey of rediscovery, you’re in the right place. The stories, the photos, and the occasional musings about Montana and beyond will all be here, just in time to keep us warm through the winter months.
By spring, everything should be settled back in nicely. And who knows? Maybe I’ll reward myself with a celebratory sleigh ride through the snow. Or maybe I’ll just take a long nap—after all, moving blogs can be exhausting!
Stay tuned!
